As Founder and President of Bright Power, an energy consulting firm, Jeff has extensive experience in the energy industry, including energy audits and energy retrofit project management for multifamily residential and commercial buildings. Jeff has a BS in Applied Physics from Yale University.

Jean Barmash

Jean has over 10 years of experience in software industry, including roles as director of technical services, team lead, principal software engineer. During his tenure as consultant, some of his clients included Ford, NBC, Adobe, CitiGroup, Bank Of America, Lehman Brothers, and IHG. Jean has a BS in Engineering, CS / EE from the Cooper Union.

Conor Laver

Conor Laver, PhD - Senior Analyst

Conor develops tools and analysis methodologies to put rigorous energy analysis in the hands of building owners and managers through EnergyScoreCards. Conor has a PhD in astrophysics from UC Berkeley.

Jon Braman

Jon Braman, LEED AP - Project Manager

Jon brings experience with the challenges of implementing efficiency in affordable housing. Jon's extensive research on green buildings appears in Greening our Built World: Costs, Benefits and Strategies (co-authored with Greg Kats, Island Press, 2009) and the 2006 Capital E report, "Greening America's Schools: Costs and Benefits." He teaches Green Building Practices as an adjunct assistant professor at NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Michele Soderstrom

Michele Soderstrom - Energy Engineer

Michele is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she studied Mechanical Engineering. Her previous experience includes working as solar and wind energy Market Analyst at the non-profit NextEnergy, volunteering with the South Durban Community Environmental Alliance in South Africa, and interning with Cleantech Group LLC.

Klaar De Schepper

Klaar De Schepper - Data Manager

While pursuing a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Science and Sustainable Development from Columbia University, Klaar worked as a project manager at Columbia University Engineering School, where she managed corporate exchange projects. Klaar conducted research at IBM and at the Columbia Libraries.

Carlos Gadea

Carlos D. Gadea – Software Engineer

Carlos develops data-processing services and tools for the EnergyScoreCards back-end. Over the course of the last four years, he has been part of software and power engineering startups while working on computer science and audio engineering projects at Cooper Union. Carlos has a BE in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Cooper Union.

 James Liu

James Liu - Account Manager

James helps clients gain a better understanding of their buildings’ energy usage and spending, as well as compliance with local energy benchmarking laws. His previous experience includes on mechanical design and solid mechanical analysis along with field experience in traditional and modern mechanical manufacturing methods. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Taiwan University and an M.S in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
